On Saturday, October 23rd, thousands of top-rated musicians and cheering spectators will converge at Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego for one of the largest field show band tournaments in San Diego County. Hosted by the Scripps Ranch High School Music Boosters, it is a chance for these Band and Color Guard units to compete not only for the day’s scores, but to finalize their Southern California rankings for Championship qualification in December.
You can be a part of this event by becoming a Trophy Sponsor, placing an advertisement, or supplying a note of encouragement in the official Tournament Program. Students receive credit for advertising they coordinate, so please include their name on the application sheet.

2010 SRHS Rising Star Rehearse-a-thon Friday, September 17, 2009 The Rising Star will hold it’s second annual Rehearse-A-Thon fundraiser for all Rising Star members. It is a marathon rehearsal where music, marching and/or performance skills are learned, practiced and perfected. Students demonstrate their commitment to excellence and quality. All moneys collected will be used to defray students’ costs not covered by school district funding.
